Jackson Square Aviation (“JSA”) is pleased to announce the first of seven Airbus A320 deliveries to Concesionaria Vuela Compania de Aviacion (“Volaris”). This delivery is in connection with a long-term operating lease, for which DVB Bank SE provided senior debt. JSA has also provided PDP financing to Volaris in connection with this transaction.
“We are thrilled to provide Volaris with financing for this aircraft,” said Alfredo Sarria, JSA SVP of Marketing for Latin America. “This is the first of seven A320 deliveries we have in place with Volaris through 2012, demonstrating our commitment to provide capital to airlines through bulk transactions tailored to each customer’s specific needs. We are extremely enthusiastic about Volaris and the Mexican market in general.”
Fernando Suarez, Chief Financial Officer of Volaris, said “This A320 aircraft will play an important role in our 2011 growth plan, as we continue to add frequencies to key cities and new destinations to our network. We are pleased to partner with Jackson Square Aviation in our fleet expansion program and look forward to a long lasting business relationship.”
